All my coffee tables are made from genuine reclaimed oak flooring, so each of these modern oak coffee tables has a story of its own, whether the floor was from a school hall or village hall. Oak is incredibly durable and hard wearing. Each piece of flooring is planed and sanded before finishing in order to restore the woods beauty, however marks, bents and occasional stains will remain in the table, giving each one a completely unique feel.

Made from reclaimed flooring laminated to mdf and hairpin legs. 
 
Finished using OSMO Oil poly-x which is a hard wax and very durable.
 
Please note: the flooring is 100% reclaimed and air-dried. As the wood is solid (not a veneer), it is likely to be impacted by being moved to a new environment. This can lead to the moisture content in the wood changing, which can cause the wood to either expand or contract. This can cause natural hairline cracks and gaps between and on individual blocks to appear. This is true of all parquet flooring, so I think it enhances the tables authentic look and feel.
